Congratulations to Anya Tabb and Lindsay Maynard, two Division of Consumer Services staff, recently recognized for their work that has impacts nationally. Both Anya and Lindsay dedicated many hours to helping improve state supervision of non-bank entities.
Network Supervision Champion
Recently, the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) named Anya as Network Supervision Champion for her work developing and testing the new One Company, One Exam protocol. This protocol launches nationally in 2025 for multistate mortgage exams undertaken by the Multistate Mortgage Committee (MMC). These are generally large, nationwide companies. One Company, One Exam leverages examiner resources, makes exams more efficient, and uses exam standards tailored to the size, complexity, and business activities of the licensee examined.
Anya is a Financial Examiner Supervisor overseeing Consumer Loan origination exams for the Department.
She holds and has held leadership positions for several national committees. Read more about Anya’s work on the One Company, One Exam protocol in CSBS’ Network Supervision Champion blog post.
Instructor of the Year Award
In late January, the CSBS Education Foundation Board of Trustees awarded Lindsay the 2024 Examiner of the Year Award for her contributions as an instructor for CSBS. Lindsay demonstrated innovative thinking and above and beyond contributions to improve two examiner schools she instructed. She consistently receives outstanding feedback from students. Lindsay also helped in planning the CSBS’ inaugural Examiner Training Contacts Forum. CSBS trainings provide invaluable opportunities for examiners in the state system to receive job-related instruction and create a network with examiners in other states.
Lindsay is the Chief Learning Officer for the Division of Consumer Services after years working as a Field Exam Supervisor. She has held positions for several national committees.

Thank you, Anya and Lindsay, for your commitment to strengthening the network of state regulators.
