2024 Annual Assessment Filing System Available

It’s time for Money Transmitter and Currency Exchanger licensees to file their 2024 Annual Assessment. All filings and payments must be completed by close of business on July 1, 2025, to avoid late penalties.

To get started, visit the Money Transmitters and Currency Exchangers Annual Assessment website for important information.

Licensees are strongly encouraged to begin the process of filing early to ensure a timely filing.

Surety Bond Compliance

A reminder to Money Transmitter licensees that now is the time to review the amount of your Washington State surety bond. Bond amounts are based on prior year activity in Washington and must be adjusted annually in conjunction with your annual assessment filing. 

Adjusting your bond amount is done by the surety provider via a rider issued in NMLS which is marked “ready” by the licensee in NMLS.

Reminder –Authorized Delegate Reporting

Don’t forget! Any authorized delegate change must be reported within 30 days of the change. All reporting is done through NMLS.
