The Securities Division received a complaint from a Washington resident involving a possibly fraudulent AI trading platform called AITLKER or Ai Tlker (“AITLKER”), which can be found at https://aitlk.us. The website is still available.
The investor was part of a WhatsApp investment group run by AITLKER and invested Tether, a cryptocurrency. Investors in the group are promoted to VIP status by recruiting others into the group. When the investor tried to withdraw his investment, he was removed from the group. The investor communicated with someone who used the email hemyclothing@gmail.com.
The AITLKER website has links called “Android Download” and “Iphone Download,” but those links do not lead to the Android Play Store or the Apple App Store.
AITLKER may be associated with a company called AIBASC LLC and another company, AITLKER Co., Ltd., which was formed in Washington. Both companies are registered with FinCEN as money services business and claim to be based in Arlington, Virginia.
A company or platform’s formation and MSB registration status does not mean that it is legitimate.
This scheme has similarities to other scams related to the use of WhatsApp investment groups or involving companies formed in Washington.
DFI has not verified the allegations in this complaint.
