About the Oversight Committee
In 2023, the Washington State Legislature passed the Covenant Homeownership Act to address the role of discriminatory housing policies that affected historically marginalized communities.
The Oversight Committee monitors the Washington State Housing Finance Commission’s efforts and progress in implementing the Covenant Homeownership Program. The committee can also suggest legislative changes as needed.
