Are you ready to renew your license? With the start of November, the renewal period opened and virtually every licensee must take action to maintain licensure in 2021. The steps to renew or complete an annual attestation vary between license types.

To have a successful renewal, it is critical to know what is required and to act early. Below are renewal details for each industry and a link where you can find more renewal information:

  • Escrow
    • Renewal Deadline: December 31
    • Renewal Fee: $386.55 per location*
    • Renewal completed via mail
  • Check Casher/Seller and Payday Lenders
    • Annual Attestation Deadline: December 31
    • NMLS System Fee: $100 for main office, $20 per branch
    • Annual Attestation completed via NMLS
  • Money Services
    • Annual Attestation Deadline: December 31
    • NMLS System Fee: $100 for main office
    • Annual Attestation completed via NMLS
  • Mortgage Broker
    • Renewal Deadline: December 15
    • Renewal Fee: $630 for main office, $550 per branch*
    • Renewal completed via NMLS
  • Consumer Loan
    • Annual Attestation Deadline: December 31
    • NMLS System Fee: $100 for main office, $20 per branch
    • Annual Attestation completed via NMLS
  • Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
    • Renewal Deadline: December 15
    • Renewal Fee: $75*
    • Renewal completed via NMLS
  • Refund Anticipation Loan Facilitators
    • Registration Filing Deadline: December 31
    • Filing Fee: $35 per Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN)
    • Filing completed via mail
