The State of Washington Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) has received several complaints from Watford LLC investors who have been unable to recover their investment funds from Watford LLC.
Watford LLC claims that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has suspended the trading of Watford LLC securities. DFI has found no evidence that the SEC has suspended the trading of Watford LLC securities or taken any other official action against Watford LLC. DFI has notified the SEC of this claim.
Watford LLC claimed to operate its business out of the Columbia Tower located in Seattle, Washington.
From September 2019 to March 2020, Watford LLC maintained a virtual office at the Columbia Tower, 701 Fifth Ave, in Seattle, Washington.
This virtual office provided Watford LLC with a local business address, local phone number, and access to business lounges. Watford LLC did not operate a physical office at the Columbia Tower.
Watford LLC and Richard Watford have failed to respond to DFI’s request for information.
