Each year Spring brings change, and it always seems to be a little different. Spring at DFI brought some surprises for us as well. Director Gloria Papiez retired as of April 1. Our Division Director Charlie Clark was appointed Agency Director, and I was appointed as Acting Division Director of Consumer Services.
Lights – Camera – Action …. Violation?
Videos can provide an engaging platform through which to portray information and can be a useful tool when advertising. However, it is important to remember that videos are considered advertisements by the Department and must comply with all advertising regulations.
BSA/AML Risk Assessment for Money Services Businesses (MSBs)
An effective anti-money laundering (AML) program is required to be “commensurate with the risks posed by the location and size of, and the nature and volume of the financial services provided by, the money services business.”
Microsoft Windows 7 Ending Support January 14, 2020
As you may be aware, Microsoft announced that it plans to end support for Windows 7 effective January 14, 2020.
