The investor learned about Expresstrademarket.com on Facebook. The investor was instructed to deposit USD into the Expresstrademarket.com platform and purchase bitcoin. Using high-pressure tactics, a “trade support” partner urged the investor to invest more and more to earn the highest return. When the investor wanted to withdraw funds, they were told they needed to first pay a tax rate of 20%, which increased to 50% when the investor delayed payment. The investor has not been able to withdraw any funds. Currently, the Expresstrademarket.com website has been taken down; however, the site has periodically returned with slight variations of the Expresstrademarket.com domain name.
