Alleged Cryptocurrency Trading Platform Investearn.com Appears to Be Engaged in Fraud

The investor learned about investearn.com from an individual who sent them a friend request on Facebook.  The individual expressed an interest in dating the investor and asked to move the chat to WhatsApp. This individual developed a relationship with the investor over videochat. The individual then showed the investor how to transfer small amounts of crypto to the Investearn.com trading platform. While the investor was initially able to withdraw some money from the platform, once they attempted to withdraw the remaining funds, they were instructed to pay additional funds to become a “VIP” member and unfreeze the account.

How to Report

If you believe you are a victim of this alleged cryptocurrency scam:

• Report to FBI
• If you are outside Washington State: contact your local Securities Regulator
• If you are a Washington State resident: Submit a Complaint for statistical purposes.
