A Washington investor deposited money into an “account” on the alleged cryptocurrency exchange SKVQ.net and subsequently has been unable to make withdrawals or access their funds. SKVQ.net is known to be a fake cryptocurrency exchange. SKVQ.net claims it was founded in 2015 and offers trading in crypto, stocks, and precious metals. Numerous victims have reported SKVQ.net to be a fraudulent site in online forums and on scam tracker sites.
How to Report
If you believe you are a victim of this alleged cryptocurrency exchange scam:
- Report to FBI
- If you are outside Washington State: contact your local Securities Regulator
- If you are a Washington State resident: Submit a Complaint for statistical purposes.
