DFI's Financial Education & Outreach Update

Wednesday, March 6, 2024

Outreach has been off to a busy start this year already!

We are seeing more requests for financial education presentations - from senior centers, community organizations and area high schools to educational conferences and other state agencies. We are excited to be strengthening partnerships with community-based nonprofits throughout the state to empower people in their knowledge and confidence in financial literacy – in both English and Spanish.

As a reminder, you can request a financial education presentation through our website here.

Be sure to note whether you are seeking outreach in English, Spanish or both. We are happy to work with all Washington residents - all ages, and most financial topics (budgeting, saving, ID theft prevention, financial fraud prevention, basics of investing, basics of homeownership, credit/debt/scores/reports, retirement basics, elder fraud prevention, etc.).

“Have van, will travel!” All presentations are provided free of cost and we make every effort to tailor our presentations to your needs.
