Back in 2012 Washington introduced NMLS as a new way to apply for and maintain your Money Transmitter or Currency Exchange license. In the Spring 2013 newsletter DFI gave notice that all multistate money transmitter and currency exchange licensees needed to have their transitions approved by December 31, 2013.
