Studying For The Test

The escrow test is robust. Studying and preparation is recommended. You may find some helpful information on the websites of the Escrow Association of Washington (EAW) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) linked below. The EAW site has links to online courses and study materials. The link to HUD takes you to the RESPA section of that web site. The test includes a section that tests your proficiency in manually calculating bank account reconciliations and completing a final settlement statement.

LPO Licensing

The LPO license is issued by the LPO Board, not by the Department of Financial Institutions.

Visit the Washington State Bar Association for information about obtaining an LPO license. You may contact the Board by e-mail at questions@wsba.org or phone (206) 443-9722 or (800) 945-9722.
