Answers to frequently asked questions about DFI’s Online E-Commerce Authorized Delegate Website system.
How often must I report my Authorized Delegates?
The time frame for reporting Authorized Delegates remains the same which is within 45 days after the end of each fiscal quarter. You can choose two different ways to use the system:
- Compile changes throughout the quarter, including any new delegates, amendments to current delegates, or deletion of delegates that you have for your company. Submit the changes all at once within 45 days after the end of the quarter. Please note: All changes that you make will remain in the Pending Actions section at the bottom of the page until you fully complete the submission.
- Make changes and submit them each time you are in the system.
Do I still need to submit a Quarterly Report?
We are currently evaluating the submission of the Quarterly Report. We will post more information as soon as it is available; we appreciate your patience as we adjust to this new process.
Can I download my Authorized Delegate list?
Yes. We have created a button that you can click on to download your Authorized Delegate list from the online system in whole or in part. Please note: If you choose “ALL” when downloading your Authorized Delegate list and if you are a large company, it may take 3-5 minutes for the list to download.
Can I upload my Authorized Delegate list?
No. At this time Authorized Delegates can’t be uploaded into our system. We are currently evaluating if we can develop functionality to upload into the system; we are hoping to be able to offer this in the future.
What are the fees that will be charged when using this system?
The fee for adding New Authorized Delegates is $50; the fee for Amending Authorized Delegates is $30. There is no fee for removing Authorized Delegates. The following link is a complete fee schedule for all Money Transmitter submissions www.dfi.wa.gov/cs/money-services-providers-fee-tips.htm
