The consumer is contacted via email and told that the seller of the vehicle has chosen to use allautotrade.com for the transaction. The consumer is asked to send the money to the company via the website instructions "for safe keeping." The consumer is then told that the car will be delivered by an "agent" of the company for inspection and that if the consumer is not satisfied they may receive a full refund. The website no longer appears to be active.
The company is not licensed by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions and is not listed with the Washington Secretary of State, the Departments of Licensing, or Revenue to do business in Washington.

This license number belongs to Internet Escrow Services, Inc., which does hold a license from this Department. allautotrade.com, which states its head office is at 209 Varick Street, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10014, is not licensed by the California Department of Corporations and is not associated with Internet Escrow Services, Inc.
