The company advertises by sending random phishing emails, stating that the individual has been pre-approved for a loan. The consumer is asked to wire an security fee to the company via Western Union prior to obtaining a loan. The company may also ask for copies of identification, such as a Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, or proof of address, such as a utility bill. This appears to be another advance fee loan scam.
The contact address provided to consumers is 75 Wells Ave, Newton, MA. As far as we can tell, Nationwide Capital Funding has no office in the State of Washington.
